Once there was a little white owl who lived by himself in the snow. He didn?t have a mummy or a daddy. He didn?t even have a name. But he didn?t really mind too much ? and his head was full of happy stories. Then one day the little owl sets off to see the world. When he meets some beautiful, colourful owls he can?t wait to share his stories, but these pretty owls do not want to be friends with a plain little owl like him. But will they change their minds when they hear his magical stories? Beautifully illustrated in vivid colours by the best-selling illustrator Jane Chapman (I?M NOT SLEEPY), this touching story by Tracey Corderoy (HUBBLE BUBBLE, GRANNY TROUBLE) celebrates difference and the beauty inside all of us. Perfect for beginning a discussion with preschoolers about how we shouldn?t judge others on how they look.
